Go Green Campaign
Rotarian Jim Crabtree is raising money to help fight Polio for the Rotary International Foundation. Jim will agree to color his hair green on St. Patrick's Day, March 17th and is reaching out to the community for their support. By making a donation to the "Go Green Campaign", Jim will join other Healdsburg Rotarians by coloring their hair to support and raise awareness of this debilitating disease. A crippling and potentially fatal infections disease, polio (poliomyelitis) still strikes children mainly under the age of five in countries in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. For more than 20 years, Rotary has led the private sector in the global effort to rid the world of this crippling disease. Your contribution will help Rotary raise $200 million dollars to match the $355 million in challenges grants received from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The resulting $555 million dollars will directly support immunization campaigns in developing counties where polio continues to infect and paralyze children, robbing them of their future and compounding the hardships faced by their families. Please make your checks payable to Rotary Club of Healdsburg. If you would like to support this endeavor please reply with your pledge.

Join us on the 17th at the St. Patrick's Day Parade, 7 am at the B & B Lounge, Healdsburg.
